It seems that Peterson has written a new book on creative shutter speeds....but there seem to be two incarnations of this book:

- Understanding shutter speed: creative action and low-light photography beyond 1/125 second: action, low-light and creative photography, published by Argentum (1 April 2007) with ISBN 1902538536
- Understanding shutter speed: creative action and low-light photography beyond 1/125 second, published by Amphoto Books (April 2008) with ISBN 0817463011

As these books are unavailable here in Belgium and have to be ordered through the internet, can somebody tell me if they are the same book or differerent contents?

TIA

    Hi Zeus,

We can get them here in the Netherlands.

This is the first, and this is the second book you mentioned.

The first one is from 2008, the second one from 2007. The description for the first one mentions: "This follow-up to Peterson's hugely successful "Understanding Exposure"....", so I assume that they are two different books thumb.gif

The books I asked about have as their topic "SHUTTER SPEED" and not "EXPOSURE". They seem to be a follow-up book on another photographic topic.
But in which do they differ from each other???

I have never bought books through BOL, mainly because, most of the time, I can get books cheaper from the UK than the Netherlands.
