On the heels of Evil Eggplant's post, I wanted to post a few wading birds of my own. I haven't been shooting in quite a long time so I'm overdue. All were w/ the new Sigma 150-500mm OS. Great for reach....LOUSY for motion! It's a S-L-O-W lens! AF hunts WAY too much. They touted this lens to be in direct competition w/ the Canon 100-400. Not! Being a Nikon shooter, I can honestly say this is one time I wish I still had my Canon lens equip. or either big Nikkor glass. Oh well, here's some of the results:

Wow! The B&W treatment is well done. The water in number two has an silky feel to it. Three and four have a very good artistic feel to them. I like the pano type presentation of the last one, the green heron and the great egret above that image. It looks like your new lens is working out well for you.
