I took Emmy out yesterday morning. I have to say that I love this series better in Vanilla black and white. The color version is fine, but I am just really loving the B and W. I also am loving this hat on her. She was on the tire swing in some of these. I'd love to hear your thoughts as well.

Beautiful series, and a very cute little girl. 8 is my fav, but they are all really good. I like the tone you used very much. clap.gif

I love B&W and it really makes my heart happy to hear, once in a while, that I'm not alone!

1 & 2 don't do anything for me - too much contrast, no face at all...

The rest so good!clap.gifthumb Love the fact that you have used the full "spectrum" from black to white! I've seen so many where that's missing.

It's hard to pick a favorite 'cause E is so darn cute in these! If I had to pick, I think my favorite has to be, oh damn, 7, 8, & 9 - so there! These are just wonderful!

    I like #9 the best.
I think you should be able to see both of the eyes in a portrait shot.

Nice conversions. 6-9 are wonderful. The first couple are simply missing her face. #5 is really cute! thumb.gif

Thanks to everyone for the comments. I love to hear what others think. I really think the Vanilla Black and white gave it a timeless look. Maybe it's my mommy glasses. Laughing.gif I would have loved to get both eyes in focus and to see her eyes in the first ones, but you know how 3 1/2 yr olds are. The ones on the tire swing were shot in the space of 2-3 minutes, seriously. She wasn't all in that much of a mood to indulge, so I shot away hoping for something usable. :D

I think 6 and 8 are my favs here, they are all nice shots. The smiles look a bit forced in some of the shots, but still cute. :D

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but here's my honest comments:

1 and 2 are not keeps with eyes totally in the dark.
    3 has one eye block.
    4 has half eye block.
Although 5 has one eye block, it brings an essence of cheekiness as compare to 3

    The rest looks good.

Most importantly, eyes got to be revealed unless taken in a creative and abstractive manner.
