Batch Uploader

Here is a challenge for all you coders. My satellite internet provider has a "fair usage" monitor which only allows a certain amount to be uploaded (and downloaded) per week. The exception is in the middle of the night (1:00am to 6:00am eastern). I have found several upload/download software packages that will kick off a batch process at a set time but I have found no way to upload to Smugmug that is not manually initiated. Is there a way that already exists to batch upload pictures to Smugmug that I do not know about? If not here is a challenge for a new way to upload your pics to Smugmug. Thanks in advance RGS

    Restartable uploading..
:-) use a restartable uploading tool (such as NitroDesk :D ) to initiate your uploads. Once you have queued the uploads, stop the uploader.

Create a scheduled task in windows to start your upload tool (with NitroDesk, ensure you have auto-login checked) at 1.00 am.

This should start the tool and if the tool works as advertised, all your pending uploads will resume at 1.00 AM.

Of course if this doesnt work/is too hard / you want to add this as a new feature, let me know :-)

    Whats a scheduled task?
I don't know where or how to start a scheduled task in windows. That is why I went looking for upload software that would do this for me.

It sounds like what the software I want to use is lacking is the ability to logon to Smugmug, and what the one you are suggesting is the scheduler.

    Tnx
