I upgraded from 1.4 to 2 and having a few problems.

1. Media sizing in 1.4 there was a tool to size 8x10, 5x7 etc...In new version 2- I'm a little lost on how to print to media that is loaded in printer....

2.My print quality is terrible and the colours are off.....I'm trying to obtain a proper profile but lost on how to achieve the best results.....

My Camera is a 30D...( Set-RGB)
My monitor is an 19" LCD running from my laptop(Calibrated with huey pro)
The Printer is a Canon Pixma 6700D.....

Thanx in Advance: Brady:scratch

Can't wait for a good Lightroom-2 Book !!!!

I have a similar setup with a Pixma 6000D. I had some issues with getting colors correct also. If I print in hi-res mode, my prints come out very green. If I use a printer profile, my colors don't come out right. I have had the best luck using the printers ICM setting in the print driver dialog and setting resolution to normal/standard. I wish I could just set it in Lightroom, but for some reason I have to also change settings in the print driver itself.
