Flowing Water

I ventured out to Hickie Gap in the North Georgia mountians, and this time I had a tripod with me because I have wanted to try my hand at shooting moving water with long exposures.

This was taken with a 1.3 sec exposure @ f-29, ISO 200.

I can't wait till the leaves start to fall so I can head back up there and get some more color.

Great shot, You could make it a bit better by cropping an inch off the top and the right side to get rid of the small branch. The water should flow through the scene a little better after that.

    More Photography . . . Less Photoshop [. . . except when I do it]

My original thinking was to leave the top portion in because it added a little color to the scene. But after following your crop suggestions I realized that the shot lacked color as it was so I converted it to B&W.

I like the crop and I still think you could loose a little off the top. Also I think I like it in color better.
