Solarigrafia/solargraphy, or how to register the paths of the sun over the landscape using a pinhole camera and very long exposures. You can see the lighthouse at Mesa Roldan, Almeria (Spain). The picture was taken with a refreshment can loaded with b/w paper and six months exposure. Much Sun

Awwwwwww me patients just wouldn't last
This looks so cool, but I'm too impatient to wait 6 months for a picture.
That's quite an extraordinary shot I must say.
How do you protect the can from extreme heat and moisture?
Thank you for sharing this shot with us Hermes

What film or paper do you use? What's the sensitivity like?
How do you keep the weather out of the can?
Cool stuff this!

Hi, thanks for your comments.
Just black and white paper, is the less photosensitive stuff that you can buy everywhere and it is so stable in any circumstances. The can needs to be sealed with black tape in order to be hermetic.
