    Hey Jeff,

    I like the first shot. thumb.gif The shallow DOF is very effective. I would not have centered it that much though.

    I like it quite a bit. The main rose is 2/3 up and slightly off center. The rose stem is a slight diagonal one way, and much the background is diagonal the opposite way. Background blur is nice. I find little to fault. Sorry if that doesn't help. :shrug

    thanks for thumb.gif my d70 it's back from the mother land and the new update has helped with focus ,I think this was w/105 I used it alot sat and sunday the more I shot w/it the better i like it [not true with my 70/300 :cry headscratch.gif

    Apparently there's a yellow tanager (spelling?) that's not afraid of people and will come up to the picnic table.

    that is a good ??? have you looked at the temps there not warm you may say D cold so we may see some but i think to early but i am hoping we get some wildlife, not Andy or before he feeds on them and we get some shots ne_nau.gif see you in yosemite thanks for looking
