OK, finally got myself to internet access in the city and can now officially post the winners.
You guys (and gals) did an awesome job with the challenge. It was a tough choice to even narrow things down. However, decisions had to be made. Even if you are not on the list, a big kudos goes out to you for your image(s), they were all great.
And now down to business.....
Honorable Mentions
#6-15 in no particular order (sorry, couldn't narrow it down further)
#5 Aqueous by PaulThomasMcKee
#4 Untitled by Arvin
#3 Locamotive #1 by richtersl
#2 Sheep's Clothing by NeiL
And the winner of this challenge goes to................
Uneven Flow by AaronNelson
To me, this images is exactly what the challenge was all about. Not only can I fell the undulation of the sand, I can feel my feet slowly sinking through the soft (yet slightly gritty) texture of the sand as I walk through the scene. It also gave another sensation that I was not expecting when I came up with the challenge.....that of heat.
For all those reasons as well as the beautiful composition, lighting and lines, this image is the winner of Mini Challenge #10.
Cheers
Dave

This was a really fun round - Thanks Dave! As always, it was great to see everyone's 'take' on the theme.
