He is definitely smiling at you!
Really like your dragon fly image. Some times adjusting the EV + - works for me.
I have the same lighting issues. One day I will get it figured out… but sure is fun learning! MM

Hi Blacksmith ... the light on your Dragonfly shot looks pretty good,
you could probably tone it down just a little more.
They always look like they are smiling :D

The light is harsher on the other two shots, and I must say,
I think that last little fellow you posted is just the most amazing colours.
It's not in my bug book, maybe someone else might know what it is ne_nau.gif

Hope your can sort out your light problem soon. thumb.gif

Good series. Light is a bit harsh in some of them.
Assuming they are flash shots looks like you need some diffusion on the flash head plus get used to using the FEC control. If the background is dark or quite far away then dial in upto -1 FEC on the flash (or camera).
#3 isn't a ladybug but is a beetle of some type.

Thanks Skippy, l2oBiN, Brian for your comments. Not an easy macro, but fun!

@ Brian: I will try myself on this lighting matter, "can do" I think! iloveyou.gif

    Cheers!
