Pimp your Dgrin - easy exif display on dgrin posted images

If you use Firefox as your regular browser, I have a script that makes it much, much easier to get EXIF data for most images posted here at dgrin. Once you install this script into GreaseMonkey, whenever you encouter a known type of image in a dgrin posting, you will see a little folded corner in the upper left of the image like this:
When you click on that corner, it will take you to an EXIF display for that image. If it's a Smugmug image, it will take you to the Smugmug display that looks like this:
It also knows about images from a bunch of other services too (like Flickr, pbase, etc...).
The only case that I know of that isn't currently working is when people link Smugmug images that are in password protected galleries, don't have EXIF display enabled or there isn't any EXIF on the image that was uploaded. In the first two cases, access to the EXIF info has been blocked. In the latter case, there just isn't any.
This script is not specific to dgrin. It can actually work in any vBulletin forum. It comes preconfigured for dgrin and nikoncafe, but it can be configured for any other vBulletin forum too.
This script is only for Firefox users. It requires the installation of the GreaseMonkey add-on for Firefox. So, first go here and install GreaseMoneky if you don't already have it. Then, go here and
install the script by clicking on the install this script button.
Try it. Let me know (in this thread) how it works or doesn't work. I've been running it myself for a few days with no problems, but if you find any issues, let me know.

Haven't tried it yet. My main laptop is out for repair at the moment and I'm using an old dinosaur.
I'll report back and let you know when my other laptop gets done.

Two things: I have noticed that you must accept cookies for the photog's sites in order to see the EXIF data. Is there any way to avoid this? If I deny the cookie request then I just see a generally blank web page.
Could you go ahead and configure this for the photography corner forum (http://www.photographycorner.com) (also vbulletin-based)?

There's nothing I can do about cookie requirements on other sites. I don't know what cookie mgmt you are using, but I would just accept a session cookie (stored in RAM only) and it will be deleted when you quit the browser. FYI, I don't have cookies enabled on most photo sites and have not had a problem yet (e.g. Flickr, pbase).
If this is what you mean by photography corner forum, it doesn't look like a vBulletin forum to me.

The NikonCafe settings should have been already built in. Mine says "http://www.nikoncafe.com/vforums/showthread*" for "included pages" which is slightly different than dgrin.

Sorry, it wasn't in there.
edit: Any idea how I can get it to work at this vB website?

edit: Hmmm...working on some pics but not others. Guess maybe they don't have exif available. Never mind...sorry to bother.

Yeah, it only works on pictures from sources where we know how to get the EXIF (flickr, smugmug, pbase, etc...).

Excellent - Thank you !
Mac OS X, Firefox.
Except now I have been seduced and am reading the DiveintoGreaseMonkey guide. (Beats the D300 manual anyway).
