Today's pickin's..

evil eggplant

I measure the passage of the seasons by the drop in the water levels of my favorite haunts. What was once a nice pond is now a big puddle, littered with floating carp. Boy, did it stink. I was hoping for some buzzards to come down to feed. Instead, my egret-friends came back, and so did a hawk..







This lucky fellow came up with two fish. He managed to get them both down..
