Can Anyone Make Blurb Books Using My SmugMug Pics?

Can anyone that wants to make a Blurb book using pics from my smugmug galleries?

Example - can a bride go to her pictures on my smugmug pages and use them to put together her own memory / picture book on blurb?

I've used blurb and like it, but just wondering if allowing that (or pointing out that it is allowed) would cut down on my "hey can you give me a cd of my jpgs so I can make a book" requests.

Thanks!

Nope - currently you can only make Blurb books with images slurped from your own SmugMug site (you need the account email and password to use that slurp tool) or they'd need to painstakingly download each and every one of the photos they'd want to use off of your site -- in pretty high resolution. And chances are you have better image protection than that on your galleries, right?! :D

We get a lot of customers writing in asking how they can make books out of their friends' photos, but at this time it's not feasible unless the gallery owner is willing to open up access to those files. So no worries. thumb.gif
