portrait of a friend in class

this is actually my first picture i ever took in raw. my friend adam is a pretty goofy guy, so i often like to have the lens on him and this picture turned out really good. please tell me what you think, i'd appreciate any advice.

    I can see why you are pleased with it.. nice eyes. The only thing that comes to mind for me is I would have cropped it much tighter to bring the focus right in on his eyes..
