Hey nice going there MM did you get to see the initial attack?
Do wasps eat the flesh, or only consume the body fluids?
I can't help but think "Military" when I see Wasps.

Skippy, I didn't get to see it capture.... That would have been cool. Now I know to look for those little guys. I do not see many Caterpillars which seems weird because this is Florida and we have no lack of bugs! Maybe I am not looking in the right places. I did not get to see him finish his dinner but if I had to guess... he only consumed the stuff inside. I have found what looked like the shriveled up skins on leafs. MM

In that last picture it looks like his right (as you face him) wing is torn up. It amazes me how many flying insects I see with torn up wings still flying perfectly fine. I wonder how long it takes to mend, if it even does at all?
