Hey nice going there MM clap.gif did you get to see the initial attack?
Do wasps eat the flesh, or only consume the body fluids?

I can't help but think "Military" when I see Wasps.

    Excellent captures clap.gif ... Skippy :D

    Thanks for the comments
Skippy, I didn't get to see it capture.... That would have been cool. Now I know to look for those little guys. I do not see many Caterpillars which seems weird because this is Florida and we have no lack of bugs! Maybe I am not looking in the right places. I did not get to see him finish his dinner but if I had to guess... he only consumed the stuff inside. I have found what looked like the shriveled up skins on leafs. MM

Nice captures. I haven't been lucky enough to see a wasp while eating.

In that last picture it looks like his right (as you face him) wing is torn up. It amazes me how many flying insects I see with torn up wings still flying perfectly fine. I wonder how long it takes to mend, if it even does at all?

    Cheers, Shayne
