Extra! Extra!
Been having a great time in New Orleans, despite the South being stricken with hurricane season. So many faces with different expressions, it's been a real challenge to get even a few.
Just one for now from Sunday morning:
I dread going home and having to sort through all of these shots!
Feedback always appreciated. Thanks!

Me too. Can I have some Beignets with an Au Lait now? Oh, so many great memories of my visits to NOLA.
Thannks for posting - love the image...beautifully done - great bokeh and you really can get the feel for Cafe du Monde from it.

Ah well, we leave tomorrow morning first thing. It really would have been nice to have a mini meetup. I'm pretty sure that I'll be back. Again!
Thanks for the comments, guys. I really had no idea the idea of beignets would go over so well on Dgrin

I'm in Baton Rouge...about 65 miles away, but there are some excellent historical landscape opportunities about halfway between N.O. and BTR. BTW this shot you posted is certainly indicative of the flavor of New Orleans. The Picayune and du Monde are mainstays. Beignets are simple to make at home BTW, and don't really require any special ingrediants.
Now.... ....where are your shots from Pat O's?
