The D300 does Nashville. I’m still working on the w/b and saturation, but overall this one is decent. It’s an as shot jpg right out of the camera. The resized file is here for quick viewing and I also inserted a link to the full size un-edited jpg for pixel peeping.
Let me know what you think!

I like this shot. The reflections on the water go a long way in giving it " life ". Nice job with exposure in capturing so many types of light.
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Thanks!

It'll only get better from here as I learn this new camera. I was shooting with a D80 before and this camera seems much more light sensitive. The saturation is a lot different along with w/b settings, too.

I'm loving it so far, though! clap.gif

That's a great shot John, the neon's are flaring a little, might be a tad over saturated.

It's a lovely wide shot, makes for a really nice scene.
You've done a nice job of this one John clap.gif ... Skippy :D

    Thanks, Skippy.

Saturation was a bit too much, but I suppose I could fix it in post processing on that photo. I've about nailed down the settings for my night shots now, so I'll be posting improved shots soon. :Dthumb.gif
