Shot today at the Baylands. Unfortunately, shot into the sun.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

They are fast little birds, very difficult to track! That's a nice dreamy quaility to that shot, Ian.

Ed -- amazing water and bird shot... that little bird kicked up that much water? Amazing!

Thanks Harry! Looking forward to some sunny days instead of these
    half cloud less sun days.

Nice capture Ed! Those little guys are fast. I hope to go back as there seems
to be a rookery or at least a spot they're all gathering. Here's one bringing
    food back to the nest.

    Very good Ian ^5
I was trying to shoot some of these guys last week and they are tough eek7.gif Fast and unpredictable and very hard to keep in the VF at 400-500mm'sne_nau.gif Oh, and they're BLACK and WHITE to boot.......lol

So any chick activity at the rookery? I think Andy and I are going to stop there Weds afternoon. You're welcome to join us, if you're up for it?

I want to get some shots of the swallows and I'd love to get one tern pic as good as the ones I've seen in this thread thumb.gifthumb.gif

    I have a few OOF's I can share with you :D

I was by the rookery yesterday. The birds seem deeper in the trees
than previous weeks. I'm guessings chicks soon.

Got a lot to do before Friday. So I'll have to say maybe for Wednesday.
