So I have been driving by three spots all week that have had Great White Egrets (I think thats what they are) there everytime I drove by. Today I had my camera, I went to the spots, there was no egrets. So I kept driving around and found a small (crappy cause its in the middle of a construction area and is also right next to a road) wetland where I found.
This common guys swimming around. As much as I don't like canadian geese I liked this shot what do you guys think?
Also there was this bird. He hated me everytime I would move to try and get close he would fly to a different spot where I couldn't get a good close shot. However I did manage to get these two that I like. BTW I think this is a Heron, not sure what kind though anyone know?
So I kept driving and I finally found this guy. I do beleive it is a great white egret am I right?

What do you guys think. I think I did better on exposing the white egret this time around than when I was in florida.

Very good series of shots. Your IDs were correct that one was a Great Blue Heron and the other was the Great Egret. Your exposures on the egrets were improved over your Florida shots.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
