Tournaments give a great opportunity to practice as there is always a game going.

I take my 18-200 so I can take pictures of the rosters. After using the 120-300 for few games, I decided to give my arms a breather and use the 18-200 for some actions shots for kicks.

I did use the D700 and the 120-300 for most of the shots. I used manual mode and auto ISO. I started out at 1/400 ss, and auto ISO picked 4000-6400, depending on the light. There were windows and doors letting in outside light so that messed things up on some shots.

By the end of my shooting, I was using 1-800/1000 ss and ISO was picking 12,800 and 25,600. I just wanted to test high ISO.
