Blackistone Lighthouse at St Clements Island

This is the island that the first settlers in Maryland landed on. The lighthouse was just rebuilt after burning down years ago. The cross was put up in 1934 on the 300 year anniversary of the landing. It represents the belief they had in religious tolerance.

    Very nice. I really like the series, especially the perspective and how the size of the cross changes.

    Thanks Stephanie, I just wish the flag poles would have been a little straighter. They make almost every picture look like its off some.
