the bokeh on #2 is really nice. it gives a really deep feeling to the image.

    Thanks.

The first photo was taken in a set which were manually focused with my 70-200L and the red (?) flowers were not in focus. So, I went back and took a 2nd set with both manual and autofocus. I took several different angles and perspectives and liked this one also.

took the liberty of making some minor adjustments to that shot just to see what I could do with it. I thought it was ver nice but it looked a touch washed out on my monitor. What do you think?

Sorry, tried to amend my reply and deleted it...
Been playin' with photoshop some, tryin' to figure it out. (anyone willing to come give hands on lessons for $5/hour?) Example being the outlining blur instead of glow here:

    I'll keep checkin' in tho!

lacking sharpness so i thought maybe a barely noticable glow would kinda highlight it. Seems like I got a lighter blurring intead. Maybe I'm just burned out and overcritical? (habit)

Lynn, Love your flowers... May I submit in flowers with bug? Went out to walk the three dogs early this morning, and there was the most beautiful moth I have ever seen... When I finished with the dogs, gently coached the moth onto my hand and then onto the azaleas... Once warm, off it flew.

    SeeMoon,
I've never seen a moth like this either, which is why I stopped, and brought out my camera. In fact I don't think I have ever seen a butterfly with those colors either. But I too, thought she was beautiful.
    Thank you for the comments...

    I remain,
