Lizard and Hummingbirds

My mom's backyard was pretty active today. These were taken with the D300 and D700, siggy 120-300 with 2X extender, and 80-200.

    It looks like you found a green anole licking up some sweet nectar. Cool find. The second to last and the last image of the ruby throated hummingbird are very good.

    Thanks! For these shots, I was trying to fill the whole frame if possible and I clipped the feathers, but I like the detail in them.

    My mom has reported it hangs around the feeder and I have seen just about every time I have set up for pictures. I was glad one of the females hummers decided to fly around the cigar plant that's under the feeder. They are becoming more active now, getting ready for their flight across the Gulf of Mexico.

    Great set. I especially like the first one, probably because i love photos of lizards. The colors in #1 are just so great!
