Three of my favorite non-bird shots from my recent trip to Kruger National Park, South Africa.

Taken with a Canon 40D and a 200-500 handheld (propped on a bean bag in the window).

C&C welcome, I'm trying to learn.

    +1

You might post a little smaller so we don't have to scroll to see entire frame. Post more from your safari when you get a chance thumb.gifthumb.gif

    I'm digging these!
As dan said, They could be a bit smaller but they do look good on my hi-def monitor.

#1 is Nice and sharp, good composition I thinlk if you used a warming filter and darkened the background a bit in photoshop, that shot would rock!

#2 is my favorite. Again if you darkened up the background with the burn tool it would really make this shot pop!

#3 is nice as well but it isn't automatically apparent what it is at first (if that makes any sence at all) A bit of shadow and highlights might help.

Anyway... for whatever that was worth ne_nau.gif

    Great series! keep them comming.

    Thanks Folks.

I appreciate the info. Sorry for the large files, I will fix that in the future. I didn't realize they would be so big. I'll post a few more soon.
