Stunning as usual. Brian, I think I have mentioned this before, there is just something unreal/natural bout the shots to me. They feel very "plasticky". Dunt know why, perhaps my eyes are not used to that world, but there just seems to be a lack of natural feeling for me. They seem too perfect, the specular highlight is very creamy and everything is very very sharp. Perhaps is the flatness in the image due to no OOF areas. Maybee because there is no reference to the background. Just can't pin it down. Don't get me wrong, they are beautiful, but my mind has trouble relating it to something I might see in nature.

Thanks for the comments all
I2oBIN - As I spent about 8 months getting the hang of how to do these - I suspect I grew into them - They are unnatural in the sense that I place a flower behind the dewdrops but believe me when I look through the viewfinder and scan through the focus this is what I see.
You can see what a set of single shots looks like in the tutorial here http://www.wonderfulphotos.com/articles/macro/dewdrops/
jecottrel - I mainly put the flower in the right place and then scan round the dewdrops for the best angle. I do sometimes then have to move the flower. You have to be pretty careful with any movement near the drops- they are very easy to knock off
Keep shooting them, we love seeing them
You are so good at dewdrop shots Brian, no matter how many times I see you post them I still say WOW :ivar .... Skippy

Do you have to "pose" the flowers behind the dewdrops, or do you just move about the drop to get the flower behind it?

Absolutely first class Brian. I would love to master the dewdrop shots but I usually lose the drop before I get fully organised.
