Whilst attempting to get a long exposure of the Jetty, this duck kept on swimming into my shot. I found this image quite amusing, bottom left ;)

One without the duck :)

Here's a minimalistic shot of a small rock poking through the surface

I actually picked this darn log up and threw it into the water for this shot :D.. it was heavy ! :(

..and finally, can't resist a surrealistic variation ;)

I really love the whole series! I wish I could shoot something like that! I know you stated your settings but what kind of camera are you using and what kind of lens are you using? I am new to D-SLR so you will have to forgive me...

    Thank you :)

All my camera information is in my Sig :). The Canon EOS 400D is marketed as the Rebel Xti in the US.

For these particular shots I was using the standard 18-55 kit lens on the 400D and the ND-110 Ten stop Neutral density filter.

Definitely the B&W without the ghost duck. Great, great image!

And I think the surrealistic variation of the tree is super! Only thing is: I'd get rid of the blue/purple rocks in the front right corner.
    More Photography . . . Less Photoshop [. . . except when I do it]
