So, after receiving your answers (Thank you so much for them!) I continue posting some portraits (more can be found at my site). Though I'll try to post less photos (I'd like 5 to be my norm!), sometimes I cant stop and ...
Hope they look different..

Here I used interesting (for me) background and different clothes of 'model' Julia.
Of course, I'd like more shallow DOF here, but that's all what Sony R1 could give me in this situation...

Spasibo,
Yuri

I'm glad you posted 7 rather than 5 - as #7 is my favorite (followed by 1 and 4). I think 7 could have been better had she been looking in your direction (with or without a smile :D) but I still think it's the best of the group.

15524779-Ti.gif that #7 is the best of the series.
In all the rest she looks very tense. :cry
#3 seems a bit too tightly cropped on top, unlike the rest
    #1 and #4 are rather bland PP-wise, IMHO ne_nau.gif

Love #5, but she looks so much better when she smiles, would love to see some of the other poses with a smile

    Yuri:

Nice photos-- here are some suggestions. In #1, the way her feet are positioned is sort of strange. I think that turning her right foot so the toes are pointing more to camera left would look more natural.

Also, go for more of an "s-curve" in terms of full-body posing. Get her body in more of an S shape (tip her head, throw out a hip, bend a knee) rather than straight up and down. Look at almost any magazine or painting with models-- you'll instantly know what I'm talking about if you draw an "S" on their bodies.

Lovely, lovely model though and your work is definitely showing progress. Thanks for sharing.
