My favorite of the bunch is #2. But you need to include more of the sky in the photo and less of the dark foreground. What I would do is frame the photo so that the foreground is just a teeny strip on the bottom and point the camera toward the sky and shoot.

Hmmm, time to check the schedule and map... West Memphis, AR at 1500 9/26/8.
My apologies, but I ran across the same situation yesterday morning during my travels, and posted that photo in the entry thread this morning.
And, thanks KoryJ, by the way, I appreciate your kind words.

Looks like I have a little time on my hands, it turns out some load planner forgot to schedule an appointment in Kalamazoo, MI so I had to back track a little to Battle Creek. A decision I am not regretting I might add, stuck 'till Monday does have some advantages. I had to stand on a garbage can to get these so a tripod was not an option. Probably could have bumped up the ISO a little and netted a little faster shutter speed, the geese caught me in the act of dialing in the exposure levels. I could hear them in the field but was not sure where or when they would take flight.
So I am thinking of changing my entry from #4 to maybe #5 (below) I will try again tomorrow (Sunday) since I'm not real happy with the sharpness of #5 so any advice is good advice.

Try again tomoorow, maybe you'll get lucky! Those shots are so hard to get right with exposure and shutter when you don't have much forewarning! Good luck!
