Question/Issue re Recent Galleries feed

Hi -

We have been discussing this issue over in the Support forum at http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=105585

Primary Question: Which of the following is the Recent Galleries feed supposed to show:
(a) Recently created Galleries? (based upon Gallery creation date/time)
(b) Recently created Galleries containing photos/videos? (based upon initial photo/video upload date/time)
(c) Galleries that have been created or updated with photo/videos recently? (based upon upload date/time of recent photos/videos)
(d) None of the above

I want the answer to be (c), but I believe the answer is (b). However, I am also finding that if you create a Gallery and then add the initial photos at a later date (as opposed to immediately), the Gallery is not added to the feed. Can anyone shed light on this?

I would like to use Feedburner to send an regular notification email which identifies any galleries which have been created or changed. It does not look like I can use the Recent Galleries feed for this - correct?

Thanks,

Tom K.

P.S. My secondary issue: I have tried working with Yahoo Pipes to come up with something sort of like this, but getting what I want has proved to be more difficult than I expected. If there are any Pipes experts here, I am adding a related post in a moment.

    Tom and/or Kirk :-}

I just used "Make a Copy" in a gallery created weeks ago. It now shows up at the top of my "Recent Galleries" feed.

So I believe the answer is c)

Also, a recently created gallery w/o photos or video did *not* show up in the feed.

    Darryl -

I appreciate your response... I see what you are saying....that the Gallery in question is the "most recent".

However, I am looking at it from the perspective of Feedburner or Google Reader (or similar feed readers).... and the whole concept of "previously-read".

I am seeing that updated (as opposed to new) Galleries do NOT show in in Google Reader/Feedburner as a new feed item. I believe they are being seen by the reader as previously-read.

I am looking for a feeds expert to help confirm this.... or explain how someone using Yahoo Pipes may be able to overcome this.

    Thanks,

    Tom K.
