I prefer open air ride on top of truck.
Well this series of images were shot when i was returning from a fort in Cholistan desert. I have posted 1 or 2 in that series as well.
The day was ending and i had no option but to hang on this mini truck and it was really hard for me ! i never did that in my whole life. My hands were slipping while truck was cutting through wind and dust in speed, looking at my situation one of the locals offered me to sit in his place and yes it was right on top of driver but open air. I took my camera out and start clicking enjoyed a lot there.

Going through small villages
Check the bed and truck coming from the other side loaded with people
Smugy having a ball
Smugy and me and crumpler
This was too good road
Dust
and more dust
and more dust
taking the lead
Green fields and shadow of my ride
The turn almost threw me on side
Self portrait and locals on roof of truck
A small town i was suppose to reach before sundown
and last picture before i jumped down

it seems that out side of the u.s. that hitching rides is the norm.....i watched a guy ride on top of a station wagon in Czech Republic .... hanging on to the window gutters as he laid on top the roof....the car was full of mom, dad, kids and dogs....guess the free ride on roof was better than walking
Yeah thats me looks like avatar needs to be updated.
Yup the bottom compartment was full of Goats kids moms dads.
Thanks for looking

Good job amigo and yes you have giant cajones for riding on top like that!
Thanks for the share. I love these total candid spontaneous shots. It gives us a real understanding of the environment you were in.
