Screech Owl
This little Eastern Screech Owl hangs out in my backyard at night looking for mice, rats, and insects. I never see it in the daytime.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Harry, I sit in the backyard after dark, and when the owl flys from tree to tree, you can see the bird ageanst the night sky. When he lands, I shine a flashlight on him, and he will freeze in position, thinking you can't see him. Walk slowly and you can get close enouth to reach out and touch him.
The light from the flashlight allows you to focus your camera on the owl. The camera pop up flash provides the light for the shot when you are within 10' of the owl.

I wish I was half the man that my dog thinks I am...
Very clever! And a good looking shot, too.
