eZprints question

Hey, I moved into my dorm a little while ago and need to decorate my walls. I'm looking to have a couple of my photos printed up and was wondering about using the Auto Color feature. From what I read it seems like this is the way to go, but should I still soft proof with the ezprints icc profile? Also, has anyone had any experience with the metallic prints? Thanks in advance!
