went up to Mt. Shuksan in the North Cascades of Washington on Sunday, got some shots of Mt. Baker from Artist Point, then came back down to shoot the classic image of Shuksan from Picture Lake...

Ray, i was there last Sunday, the 27th, on the platform at Picture Lake from around 4:00 PM till about 5:30. Looks like your shot was taken from the edge of the smaller lake (pond?) just opposite the lodge at the entrance to the area, rather than from Picture Lake itself...

Then, I took work off today and there was hardly anyone there, and the fall colors are brilliant. Haven't processed the photos yet.
Anyway, great shot, it's a popular spot for a reason.
