went up to Mt. Shuksan in the North Cascades of Washington on Sunday, got some shots of Mt. Baker from Artist Point, then came back down to shoot the classic image of Shuksan from Picture Lake...

My husband and I are thinking of moving to Washington, and your mountain shots are definitely pushing us even more in that direction. Beautiful. clap.gif

Ray, i was there last Sunday, the 27th, on the platform at Picture Lake from around 4:00 PM till about 5:30. Looks like your shot was taken from the edge of the smaller lake (pond?) just opposite the lodge at the entrance to the area, rather than from Picture Lake itself...

Nice! I was also there on Sunday, and so frustrated by the amount of people that I just went back up to Artist Point and caught the sunset reflection of Mt. Shuksan in a tarn :D

Then, I took work off today and there was hardly anyone there, and the fall colors are brilliant. Haven't processed the photos yet.

Anyway, great shot, it's a popular spot for a reason.

Well I have this weekend planned if the weather holds. You have a small dust spot from your sensor in the lower right you might want to clone.

    Nice one!
