Had a chance to go out to the Merced NWR, CA on Wednesday afternoon. Looks like the water is starting to fill and the shorebirds are starting to return for the winter. The lighting was still kind of harsh, but for me, I was just glad to be out there....except for the bugs!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
