Bear Country

On a trip to Bella Coola British Columbia, Canada, My daughter directed us to visit the Fisheries Pool. After walking around the pool and looking at hundreds of salmon spawning or waiting for their death to occur, a fisherman came up and said there were grizzly bears just up stream. Walked up the stream bank and watched 4 bears feasting.
The male was watching the female and two cubs very close and was threatened by them. I wish I could have removed some branches and folliage to get better photos, but - well I wasn't that brave.:D

I hope to see bears in the wild someday. It must have been really exciting watching them!
