Taken during my one-week trek across the French Alps. After a dreary evening were I could not photograph because the visibility was low due to fog came a morning that was quite spectacular.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

color works for me, the B&W is good but when up against the color...there is no comparison.....COLOR!

I'll check the BW box on this one.
The sky is very dramatic and the variation of tone pulls my eye into the image.
Love the color as well, but I'm a sucker for dramatic BW landscapes.
Nice job ... sounds like a great trip! Hope to see more images from it!

On the b/w version, I think if you burn in the sky, it may look more dramatic.
