sweet family 2
I'm finishing up my processing on these, and I feel like I'm having some trouble. (I'm using CS3 for the first time to process a set of pics.) I'd like to share more later, but for now...are these too bright or too saturated or too...something?

New PP software? How did the old program work for you?
You'll have fun with Creative Suites (CS), for sure!

I think I got the faces toned down just a smidge in the first shot. I'm enjoying CS3 (more than PSE 5) as I'm able to make use of templates like this:
BTW, the template came from here.

I really like her templates / actions. I don't have experience with the templates BUT watch out that the black ornaments on the photo aren't too close to the edges, otherwise they'll get cropped and that would be too bad (
Elaine,
Great photos! I love the parents in blue and the kids in brown.
I was having a conversation with a friend yesterday about how to position hands during photos. You're shots give me some good ideas if I ever encounter a family shoot. Thanks!

Thank you SO much. And thanks for the tip on the ornaments. I actually added those (they are one of her brushes, but not part of this template). Perhaps I should just remove them, as that would be bad if they got clipped.

Here's another card I put together, using a template from Design Aglow.
