One last try--are these any better? #8

I went out to a local park this morning with the idea of catching dawn/sunrise by the American flag on display by the duck pond/gazebo area. I was thinking of "By the Dawn's early light" & I had the comp visualized and was just all set to go. I got there and NO FLAG! :cry I was so disappointed! I had to settle for the gazebo, and because I had to settle I'm not sure I like any of them.

I'd appreciate any comments or suggestions. Thanks in advance.

6. Lastly, I consider this the 'one that got away.' I just wish I had a better exposure & hadn't cut off the top of the lamppost. <sigh>

Thanks to you both. I also like the pic from last night better. I was so disappointed with my shots from this morning. I'm glad to know it wasn't just me.
