Fun, informal maternity shots
I've really been enjoying documenting my wife's first pregnancy and thought I'd share some of my favorite pics.

These were shot in our den with two 430 EX strobes, balanced with the warm ambient from the room behind the glass doors. The main light was in a 42" shoot-thru umbrella about 15' to camera right. The hair light was bare, located a couple of feet behind and above her, to camera left. I think the power levels were equal. The strobes were triggered with an ST-E2.

These were shot in our backyard using jeffreaux2's recipe for senior portraits. Conditions were light overcast, so the natural light was diffuse, but still somewhat directional.
All shots were taken with a Canon Rebel XTi and EF 50 f/1.4. Click photos for EXIF. All post processing was done in Lightroom 2.0.
