Wash and Dry
I'm always amazed at the things I stumble upon when I least expect it. I was wandering down a shell path and suddenly I was intruding on a red shouldered hawk's afternoon bath. Needless to say, it gave me a nasty look and flew off. Surprisingly, farther down the trail, I found the same bird perched on a limb trying to dry out and this time it hung around long enough for me to get a few more shots.
Have fun,
Phil

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
love the detail in the closeup..

Thanks Steve. I wish the lighting would have been better on the closeup, but when it's a gray day you have to take what you can get. Using my flash was not an option.
