One of the drawbacks of having an outdoor cat is the "presents" he brings us. Pictures aren't gory, but I put links up anyways.

Don't play with your food!

That's strike 2, young man.

At least it wasn't messy.

That squirrel wouldn't climb a tree if you put 5000 volts through it. It's deceased, gone on to meet it's maker. That squirrel is no more, it has ceased to exist. Bereft of life, it rests in pieces. If that cat hadn't caught it it wouldn't be pushing up the daisies - that is an ex-squirrel.

Oliver has also brought in birds (one time all we found was a wing and some birdseed), a live rat (which we caught) and a hamster. Maybe it's time to bring him indoors full-time. rolleyes1.gif

Why domesticate a wonderful animal? He's just trying to get your attention/approval. If he's got the skills let him sharpen 'em. My cat (Rocky) will climb the tree after a good squirrel. He just has to hunt when the two Australian shepherds are asleep or out hunting on their own rolleyes1.gif

Nothing wrong with that squirrel that a little work in PhotoShop can't fix.
