I drove West from Illinois late last week. The weather was perfect all the way along I-80.
See! Um, I think this is going to be a house (or a sewer or something).
I found the only froo froo coffee shop in western Nebraska, right next to this:
No, I didn't.
Once into Colorado, the driving got prettier...then rainier.
This is the scenic vista rest stop where I stopped for lunch.
I met David and Diana in Vail where they were vacationing last week.
Dave wore himself out shooting up Colorado. I found him with all the required necessities.
I drove on to the West. I had hoped to mountain bike a bit before hitting Moab. Alas, the rain gods said otherwise.
Near the entrance to Castle Valley on 128 I was greated with this view.
I'm here! I'm here! It stopped raining! Anyone else here?
