Hey Craig, great shot! I love IR and would like to start shooting some in the furture. The water in your photo is awesome, I love how dark it is. Bravo. thumb.gif

    Howdy Joe,

Thanks very much, you might try getting an IR Filter, like an R72, and give it a try. You'll have to use longer shutter speeds (20-30 sec possibly) and set your w/b off of some foliage, but the D200 has no shone to do very well shooting IR. One thing that helps is to try and shoot when the wind is down, so the longer shutter speeds don't end up having a lot of blurring caused by movement.

Good luck, and let us know if you give it a try.

I think I will go out and buy an R72 filter and give it a shot. Thanks for the info, and I'll post some shots once I get around to trying this.
    Thanks,

    Joe
