I went out to some people's place this afternoon and shot some stuff in their garden.
Not many bugs but plenty of lovely flower action.
I havent done any for a while so it was good to shake out the cobwebs..

1. droplet on flower.


2. young banksia cone


3. flower stamen


4 bottle brush

6. this mozzie was sucking on my blood. ouch!


7. a wasp on its nest


The bottle brush were incredible. I am definitely going back in the early morning and do heaps on them.

I love the focus you have achieved with the wasp eyes, great effort. I reckon if you toned down the exposure slightly on your shot of the 2 stamens you would end up with a top photo of an interesting subject.
