The wife picked a flower this evening and asked me to photograph it. The problem with a lot of vivid red flowers is they don't always photograph that well due to the strenght of the primary colour. So with that in mind, I added a Bas Relief filter to the image to take away some of the power.

If you shoot RAW I find dropping the colour temp down to around 5200 helps de-saturate reds a bit.

Think the red is better but the green is bit much now- perhaps somewhere half beween
