    Pretty good Ron

    good

    -colors seem about right
-exposures are right on the first two photos
    -good detail

    nit

-the last 3 photos are a tad underexposed, +1/3 EV would fix this

-all photos have to much clutter, try to zoom in or crop out stray
braches, dull skies etc. Focus on two elments only when starting
out in landscape to keep it simple. So like your last photo crop out
the sky and overhanging tree on the right. The two elements would
then just be the fall color trees and water thats it

Dwayne Oakes thank you. In the last photo above would you crop out the sky entirely or just most of it. I tried a couple more with your suggestions and hope I'm on the right track. Last one is out of focus but was trying to crop it as you suggested.

See Ron that is better !

    -first one looks alot better

-second one, crop all the sky out

-third one, crop the sky out but leave some showing in the
top left corner to balance out the photo

So now when you are out taking photos you can just zoom in
with a zoom lens and frame your photos avoiding alot of clutter.

Thanks Dwayne, I took a look at your web site so I have a idea what your pointing out to me. What should I do with the bridge shots? There was no good spot to shot it from, the trees blocked most of it. Guess I need some wadders.

    Thanks Ron

    Hi Ron

Not much going on with the bridge photos I would forget about them.
Once you have been taking alot of photos for some time you will get
an idea of what photos you should spend time on in the field and which
ones are just not worth it.
