I saw this one day while driving along a road, so I did a U turn and went back to take some photos.:):

    U-turns, best invention
I had to chuckle at your U-turn comment. A sign of a true photographer... how many times have I done this, or asked my husband to stop and back up so I could get a shot.

I would have made a U-turn for that shot indeed! Great catch!

    Thanks
Thanks everyone, my poor suffering wife has to endure my moments of photograhy maddness. I will upload a photo of her hand holding a Red Rose, I took around 200 photos to get the one I liked, she never complained. Got to love her for that.

Pretty cool. There are 100 ways to crop, flip and rotate this to give interesting compositions. Next time I see a tank like that, I will probably have to stop and shoot it.

Wonderful eye to see the simple, clean lines of this every day sight and turn it into such a cool image.thumb.gifclap.gifclap.gif

Cool shot - it made me smile 'cause I've got a similar shot that I also made a "u-turn" to shoot. I like yours better than mine, though. Great colors, tones, composition on yours. thumb.gif

Maybe we should start the "u-turn stairs and shadows club".

I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.
