Need your all opinion please!
I was emailed requesting to use my pictures in an upcoming motorsports book that is being compiled of selected unique motorsports.
They are requesting to use many of my shots and are willing to pay me for the pics along with providing me recognition and a copy of the book.

a few questions?
What would be an appropriate fee?
is there a std form-contract that I should have them sign prior to agreeing to use my pics?
Has anyone had any experience with the publishing company called Editor1?
Their email is editor_one@yahoo.com.

Any, any suggestions would be appreciated as I am not interested in getting rich (this time) but want to be fair in my offerings and get my name out there.
Thank you

hey, congratulations on being approached for your images.

I'm going to ask that you perform a search. our cool search feature will turn up many discussions about this very same topic.

    Thanks. thumb.gif

    Congrats on the publication offer!

One thing that I would do if I were you is to check out the publishing company. I just did a search for Editor1 and came up with nothing. And while I realize it's probably a personal bias, a company using a yahoo.com email address makes me a little nervous. Of course it's entirely possible that they don't have a web site...

Did they (hopefully) send you some company information in their email?
