Wildlife focusing

I have a K10 and using a Tamron 70-200 2.8 lens. Actually it seems with any of my long range lenses I have this problem of getting a razor sharp focus. When looking at the photos on a computer they look good from original distance but if I try to enlarge past 50% many of mine have a dull outline. I've tried auto and manual focusing. About 1/5 are good. Rest just don't have that great sharpness. I find it easier to use a point and shoot and then enlarge that. I don't usually use auto setting but have tried that too. Is it just my eyes or could a camera be off?
Any suggestions

Thanks

The more you zoom in with a long lens, the more any little camera shake can blur the photo. Do you use a tripod? What kind of shutter speed are you using?

Many times I'm letting the camera select the speed but the K10 has the anti shake too. Maybe I should still use a tripod with that heavy of a lens?

Specifically on these the camera was set at 1/125 F3.5

ishoot a Konica Minolta 7D with antishake also....but even with that I still need to be at 1/200th or higher for my 70-210 f2.8 lens......unless on a really sturdy tri pod with any of the center column up as that just invites camera shake........
