Can I attach a zip file or a wordpad file to a message posted here? I ask because I have offered some code for other SM'ers to use but it is too long to just add to a regular post...

    No, sorry. Email it to them.

    Valid attachment file extensions: gif jpeg jpg kml kmz pdf png txt

    So, if it's an un-ZIPped text file, it's ok? (policy question, as opposed to technical)

    OK. Thanks. That must have been one of the heros that had a file to download. I can not remeber the post I saw it in though...

    Just put it in a plain text file (like Notepad) and don't ZIP it. Then you can attach the .txt file thumb.gif

    Get a free Ripway account (or similar), post the file there, and then give them the link in your post here?
